김병건 교수
고등학교 시절 폐병 3기의 환자가 신앙으로 하나님의 치유로 나았다는 말을 듣고 병을 낫기 위해서 어머님을 모시고 교회를 나갔다. 몸무게 41Kg. 얼굴은 피골상접 세수 할 때는 광대뼈가 흔들 흔들. 죽음의 계곡을 향한 시골로 죽으러 들어갔다. 그러나 하나님의 도움으로 편지 한 통이 살렸다. 반에서 홈룸(Home Room)을 연 결과로, 서대전 적십자 병원 측의 호의로, 마침 급우의 형인 내과 과장의 안내로 무료 치료를 해 주겠으니 편지 받는 즉시 병원으로 오라는 편지였다. 소화가 안 된다고 흰 죽만 6개월 이상 먹으니 영양 부족으로 되었던 모양이다. 여하간 교회를 나가면서 병원을 다녔다. 하나님의 사랑과 정성어린 의사의 치료로 나음을 얻었다. 본문 38절, 39절 말씀엔 베드로의 장모(mother in law)가 중한 열병(serious fever)에 걸렸는데 그 열병을 꾸짖으니까 그 열병이 나갔다(rebuked, and it left her). 예수께서는 차별하지 않으시고 누구나 한 영혼 한 영혼을 개인적으로 안수(He laid his hands on every one of them)하셔서 고쳐 주셨다. 우리의 영을 치료하시는 하나님의 숨결을 맛본다.
37. And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about. 38. And he arose out of synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; and they bethought, him for her. 39. And he stood over her and rebuked the fever; and it left her; and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. 40. Now when the sun was setting, all they that had sick with diverse diseases through them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. [Luke 4: 37-40]
