사람의 행동엔 목표가 있다. 그 목표를 위해서 노력하는 것이 삶의 패턴(pattern)이다. 예수가 이 땅에 오심을 선포하며 왜 오셨는가를 밝히고 있다. (1)가난한 자에게 복음을 전하려고(to preach the gospel to the poor) (2)포로 된 자에게 자유를 전하려고(to give freedom to the oppressed) (3)마음이 상한 자를 고치려(to heal the broken hearted) (4)포로 된 자에게 구원을 전하려고(to preach deliverance to the captives) (5)눈먼 자에게 복음을 전하려고(and recovering of sight to the blind (6)짓밟힌 자에게 자유를 주려(to set at liberty them that are bruised) (7)희년을 선포하기 위해서(to preach the acceptable year of the Lord)등이 갈릴리 사역의 목표들이다. 하나님께서 가난한 자에게 복음을 전하려고 메시야를 이 세상에 보내신 것이다. 예수께서 자신을 해하려 눈독 들이는 자들에게 복음을 전하기 위하여 최선을 다 한 것이
아닌가? 눈먼 자, 가난한자, 눌려 사는 자, 그늘의 사람들을 예수님의 눈으로 바라볼 때 그들을 구원할 지혜가 번뜩일 것이다.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
And he began to say unto them. This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, is not this Joseph’s son?” [Luke 4:18-22]

“주의 성령이 내게 임하셨으니 이는 가난한 자에게 복음을 전하게 하시려고 내게 기름을 부으시고 나를 보내사 포로 된 자에게 자유를 눈먼 자에게 다시 보게 함을 전파하며 눌린 자를 자유케 하고 19.주의 은혜의 해를 전파하게 하려 하심이라 하였더라 20.책을 덮어 그 맡은 자에게 주시고 앉으시니 회당에 있는 자들이 다 주목하여 보더라 21.이에 예수께서 저희에게 말씀하시되 이 글이 오늘날 너희 귀에 응하였느니라 하시니 22.저희가 다 그를 증거하고 그 입으로 나오는 바 은혜로운 말을 기이히 여겨 가로되 이 사람이 요셉의 아들이 아니냐?” [누가복음 4:18-22]

5.unintelligible; illegible. blindfold=v.t. to cover the eyes covered. blindness= adv. in a blind manner. *눈 먼 자에게 다시 보게 한다.=recovering of sigh to the blind. *회당에 있는 자들이 다 주목하여 보더라.=And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. *저희가 다 그를 증거하고=And all bare him witness. *그의 입으로부터 나오는 말을 듣고 모든 사람이 놀랐다.=All the people were surprised at the words which proceeded out of his mouth. *proceed=v.i. to go forward or outward; advance; continue.
