Moon Kyung-eun netted a game-high 28 points, including 21 from the arc, as the ET Land Black Slamer (11-7) had a 94-84 win over the Mobis Automons (4-14) in Thursday night’s Korean Basketball League (KBL) action in Ulsan.
Cho Dong-hyun also had 13 points and 12 assists as the Black Slamer moved one notch up to share fourth place with the Samsung Thunders in the KBL standings.
With 54 seconds to go in the fourth quarter, Moon drained a critical three-pointer to reduce their deficit by 80-79. A free throw off Choi Myung-do forced an extra. The Black Slamer’s rally continued as the visitors had a 10-2 run to make it 90-82 and closed it out with Park Young-jin’s lay-up.
The Automons committed seven turnovers in the fourth with the Black Slamer having only two. The home team showed their weakness in overtime with their fifth such loss in six games this season.
