August is here and back to school is just around the corner. With different kinds of emationals when it comes to back to school people also have different types of thoughts when it comes to school. Of course a new school year means different classes, different friends for everyone. It might surprise you how big of a different everyone’s perspectives on a new school year is.
Starting out with the new school year, of course there’s got to be something that everyone is looking forward to. My friend Sungjoon is excited about his upcoming AP Computer Science.
One of the reasons on why he likes this class is because he likes to code and programming computer and the class is all about that, also he has heard that the teacher has a nice attitude as well. Just like them, Edward is excited with sports, he is going to be joining two clubs, volleyball and soccer.
He has a considerable amount of passion about these sports because he played them growing up. He also has new teachers and he is hoping that they would be nice to him.
On the other hand, new school years also brings fear to students because a new school
means new challenges as well. Especially with the last two years of high school, the SAT and ACT are the musts and they are two of the biggest tests in almost people’s high school career that brings the most pressure, these two tests will lead to lots of last nights in addition to a large amount of preparation.
Another considerable task is AP as Edward will be joining AP US History and people have told him that it is unmistakably hard.
A new school year also means trying out new activities as well as starting something new. Edward is going to start a club relating to the topic of sport’s business in school and he is ready for it. Sungjoon in different circumstance is trying out AP which he has no idea how it is going to be.
Overall, they are all going to be trying to make impacts their school campus. For my school year, I’m going to make more friends and having more connections with my teachers and staff members. I’m also going to try hard when it comes to grades as well as any other preference.
In conclusion, a new school year has leads to an endless amount of new things happening, whether fun or not, you just have a positive mindset of everything!
