Note that camping is not allowed within 100 feet from trails. As Clouds Rest is so narrow, it's impossible to be 100 feet away from the trail. 

I admit that I broke the rule by camping on the summit of Clouds Rest. But I carefully selected the date to have minimal impact by camping on the snow when there was no one other than us. 

Please don't camp at the summit during on-season, especially when Tioga road is opened.
