The 65th anniversary celebration of Seoul Economic Daily, a sister publication of this newspaper, was held with great success on July 31 (Korea time) at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by approximately 300 prominent figures, including Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, party leaders, and key government ministers.

In his commemorative address, Seoul Economic Daily Chairman Jang Jae-min stated, “We will always reflect on and contemplate the role of truthful media to ensure that upright journalism takes root,” adding, “As a media outlet that remains vigilant 24 hours a day, we pledge to be a partner in protecting and advancing liberal democracy, the rule of law, and the market economy.”
