Steve Kang, a Korean American newly appointed as the Public Works Commissioner responsible for overseeing LA City's infrastructure, was officially sworn in following the approval of the LA City Council on the 30th. Kang will begin his term as Public Works Commissioner, which is a full-time, high-salary paid position, on November 4. During his swearing-in ceremony held at LA City Hall, Commissioner Kang (center) was welcomed by the other four Public Works Commissioners.
