▶ Awarded in Three Categories by USA Today
▶ Also Secures 2nd Place for In-Flight Meals
Korean Air announced on the 26th that it was named the top airline in the Business and First Class categories for the second consecutive year in the "2024 10Best Readers' Choice Awards," organized by USA Today, a leading general daily newspaper.
The airline also placed second in the In-Flight Meals category and fourth in the Cabin Crew category, securing high rankings in three categories.
USA Today annually conducts online polls where readers vote directly to rank the top 10 companies in various fields, including airlines, airports, accommodations, travel, and travel gear.
Korean Air stated that this recognition is the result of its customer-centered services aimed at providing a more comfortable travel experience for passengers.
For instance, the "Prestige Suite 2.0" seats on the newly introduced Boeing 787-10 aircraft are designed to ensure passenger privacy while maximizing comfort. The seats can recline 180 degrees, allowing passengers to lie flat like a bed. The airline’s efforts to improve in-flight meals in response to the diverse needs of customers were also noted. Early last year, Korean Air introduced a Korean-style vegan menu based on traditional Korean cuisine, and also launched a pre-order meal service for Prestige Class passengers, continuously striving to enhance service quality.
In May, Korean Air ranked second in the Best Airline category at the "2024 Airline Excellence Awards" hosted by Australia’s AirlineRatings.com. The airline was also named the "Best Long-Haul Airline in North Asia." That same month, Korean Air won the top prize in the "Best First-Class In-Flight Menu" category at the "2024 Leisure and Lifestyle Travel Awards," organized by the US travel magazine Global Traveler.
Korean Air stated, "We plan to continuously upgrade the quality of customer service and further develop as a global airline leading the aviation industry worldwide."
