We parked at the end of Gstaard Road, climbed Ward Peak and took Pacific Crest Trail  to Twin Peaks, then came down via Tahoe Rim Trail. Finding a parking space was the most difficult part of this trip.

I tried to camp as close to the summit as possible and ended up camping at 4.2 miles point. It took 8 hours to cover 4.2 miles on the first day.

On the second day, it took only 3 hours to cover almost the same distance.

It's because the PCT section had a few steep side slop where we had to change snowshoes to crampons.
