Day 1: Convict Lake Trailhead - Mildred Lake - Base Camp

Day 2: Base Camp - Mt Baldwin Summit - Mildred Lake - Trailhead

We setup the base camp between Bright Dot Lake and the base of Mt Baldwin. There was a water source near the base camp.

It was the first weekend of June but it was unusually cold and windy day.

When I looked up the summit from the base of Mt Baldwin, it looked impossible to summit without technical climbing. To my surprise, there was a use trail all the way to the top. It was mostly class 2 except one place. There was a steep snow slop near the calcite mine around 12000 ft. We had to use crampons and ice axe to pass the 50 ft of steep icy snow field.
