The baseball world was shocked to hear the news of the death of a pitcher, Tyler Skaggs. Skaggs was on the road to play the Rangers for the Angels.

Following his mysterious death in his hotel room postponed the game. Skaggs was loved by many fans because of his character and his passion for the game of baseball.
Therefore, the death Skaggs brought sadness to players and fans.

The result for the autopsy was revealed to the public past week, and his death was reported to be caused from drugs and alcohol.

Specifically, he was under the influence of Oxycodone, Fentanyl, and alcohol that caused him to choke on his own vomit. His family, teammates, and fans were left speechless after hearing this news because they did not expect this outcome.

The death of Skaggs is similar to the death of Jose Fernandez in 2016, in which he was under the influence that led to boat crash in Miami. This bring the questions to the growing drug use and their accessibility.

Deaths caused by drugs are increasing annually. This brings a question to what is being done to prevent this, and how professional athletes have an easy access to these drugs.
The growing liberalism in the world can lead to these tragedies because they are the ones usually advocating for the legalization of drugs. Furthermore, government needs to do something to prevent the increasing number of foreign drug trafficking. This will put a significant decrease on domestic drug use because a good portion of drug comes from foreign nations. Moreover, stricter and more regulations on drugs and alcohol is urgent in the professional sports committee to prevent the deaths of athletes.
