As the football season is kicking off to a fresh start this year, the competitive football fans are returning to their stadiums to support their home teams. Starting off the season with a 1-0 lead, the Los Angeles Rams are looking forward to have a successful season. On the 10th of this September, the Rams were able to secure a dominating victory against the Oakland Raiders, hyping the fans up for the remaining games of the season. Despite the lead the Raiders had up until the second quarter with the score of 13:10, the Rams kicked up their games and took the lead out of the Raiders’ hands again in the third and fourth quarter, scoring 23 additional points, 13 in the third and 10 in the fourth.

Although placing first from the division last year, the Rams were not able to carry the momentum into the wild cards, as they lost the the Atlanta Falcons 13-26. Nevertheless, the team is one of the more promising teams for the upcoming seasons in the NFL. With having the second youngest roster in the NFL and the youngest coach in NFL, Sean McVay replaced former head coach John Vassal entering the 2017 season. The teams overall ranking drastically increased from third place to a stunning first place.

Going into the first game of the season, the LA Rams struggled to get a solid prediction of the Raiders offense, as Jon Gruden returned as the coach for the Raiders. With Aqib Talib representing the defense line, Talib said that their defense had to “freestyle” against Jon Gruden and his offense.

“We kind of freestyled coming out. We didn’t know how Gruden was going to attack us on defense. Our coaches did a great job adjusting and we were able to hold them to zero points in the second half and our offense got going and, big win for us,” Talib said on NFL Total Access.

After taking some time to recognize the offense patterns during the first half of the game, the Rams offense exploded with Greg Zuerlein tying the game 13-13. As one of the older players on the team, Zuerlein led the team by scoring during the critical moments throughout the game. On this day, Zuerlein scored 12 of the 33 points, showing huge potential for not only Zuerlein, but the LA Rams as a whole.

The LA Rams have their second game scheduled against the Arizona Cardinals on the 16th of September at 1:05pm, so let’s all anticipate for another victory by the Rams!
