For a few years, engineers and computer programmers have been trying to implement augmented reality into our lives to make certain actions more convenient. However, now they are able to use technology we have in order to expand our knowledge in this topic. According to Forbes, it is predicted that the AR/VR healthcare market will reach $5.1 billion by 2025. There are many ways to implement AR/VR into the medical field such as using it to find usually hard to find veins in one’s body. Also, it will be easier for upcoming doctors to have more practice in diagnosis and surgery to lessen the amount of mistakes new doctors may make.

Next, augmented reality can be used in home decoration without having to buy and return items that may not look good in one’s house. For example, if someone wanted to hang a brand new painting to match the rest of their decorations, using an app you can input the painting and see if it looks good or not. But this software are not limited to 2D items like painting, since augmented reality can be used in 3D, someone can use it to find the perfect couch, chair, table, etc. for their home.

All in all, augmented reality has many different uses ranging from home decorations to assisting doctors. Using augmented reality in the future can lead people to live a much more convenient life.
