With the release of the iPhone X came a worldwide uproar. New technology gets developed every year and society starts to change more and more. Kids, around seven years of age are carrying the newest trends of technology. Just a few years ago, it was staggering to see even children over 10 years of age to be carrying these new developments. But how much technology is “too much”? Where is that line where it has gone too far? With new developments, we get smarter and smarter but the downside is that we also get lazier. Everything is available to us in a click of a button. There are many debates on if the development of new technologies is good or bad for humanity. It is true that with all the good that technology brings, also comes with a downfall. New technology will lead to new scientific developments that will probably benefit humanity in the future. It’s so much easier to gain access to information than a few years ago. Yet, It has come to the point where people are scared for the future. Technology, even now are ruining relationships, romantically and platonically. More often than not are people just looking at their electronics than socializing in public places, such as restaurants. Even with their significant other, they choose to look at their screens than to interact with them. It’s scary to see how new technologies changed human interaction in just a few years. People are suspecting that in around 10-20 years, there will come a time where we will lose all of our jobs to such technology. Robots, perfect in all ways will be able to do everything mankind can do, but better. With no need to pay robots and an increase in performance and precision, robots, with no doubt will replace us, it’s just a matter of time in developing that kind of technology. With all the amazing things that technology can provide for us, is it worth the damage in the future?
