DIY Speakers
Every now and then, you may face a direneed for some speakers. In one way, sucha situation can become a very simple, coolproject that can introduce you to a basicDIY build that you can use to pair with yourphone or other audio output device for timeswhen you need a little bit more volume. Aspart of a search for more applicable DIYprojects,I conducted an experiment to createaffordable speakers with everyday householditems.

With simple components such as copperwire, neodymium magnets, paper clips, tape, plastic cups, and earphones, one is more thancapable of creating homemadespeakers. As a result ofmy experiment, although themagnets that I had used turnedout to weak, while the coilfailed to wrap neatly, I was ableto successfully create a set ofhomemade speakers. As anyexperiment goes, it is imperativeto recognize one’ s mistakesso that the next experimentcan run more smoothly.

One possible mistake I couldhave made was wrapping thepaper too tightly around themagnets, which did not leaveenough room for the magnetsto vibrate. Additionally, usingthicker wires could have better insulated thecontraption. If one wishes to have strongersounds, it would be advised to use strongermagnets, wrap the coil neatly and tightly, anduse an amplifier to increase the sound quality.

Ultimately, the benefits of creating DIYprojects reach beyond financial affordability.

According to the Huffington Post, completingDIY projects allows one to exercise his orher creativity, gain new skills, and achieve afeeling of accomplishment by building one’ sown mechanism. As part of my own experience, conducting DIY experiments is highlyrewarding and fit for everyone to try.
