Tech Savvy Inventions for Pets: Are They Really THAT Needed?
As many of you may know, our generationis becoming drastically different every moment of our lives through technology. Everything from new iPhones, new music, and new ways of teaching education has pervaded our daily routine. And now the world has even provided technology for the simplest things, including pets. It may sure make life a lot easier for pet owners, but does making technology do all the work for your pets make you a good owner? Most people might respond saying, “technology exists to make our lives easier, so it shouldn’t be logicallyincorrect for people to use technology at our own convenience.” It is definitely not another person’s place to stop others from taking advantage of technological advances. However, humans can’t always depend their lives on society’s greatest inventions. There isn’t really a wrong answer in whether we should use these inventions or not. With that said, let’s take a look at the inventions for today’s pets.

The Whistle (also known as Tagg), one of the finest pet inventions, is not your ordinary modern tool. Whistle is a wireless device that attaches to the collar and collects information about the pet’s daily activities and overall health. You could basically think of it as a FitBit or Nike band that tracks your health, but for animals. The owner can see the daily active progress of their pets through their phones through an app called Tagg. Once the collar is attached to the pet, the owner will have access to a daily report of how activetheir pet was, the intensity of their activity, how long the pet was active for, and a tracker of where the pet is. If you get the updatedsecond generation of the Tagg collar, it can even monitor the pet’s temperature and notify the pet owner if the pet is overly hot or overly cold. This app works for all animals, except fish. Tagg is a great inventionthat is definitely for those who like to be constantly aware of their pets.

The next invention is specifically for cats. The Superheadz K202 Cat Camera is a 35 mm film camera that looks like a cat and sounds like a cat. This camera meows in its variety of different cat vocals to draw the attention of a real cat when trying to take a picture. For cat owners, it may sometimes be hard for them to take good pictures of their cats because they tend to roam around alone and be more independent. But with the Superheadz K202 Cat Camera, it will lure the cat to look at the camera (hopefully). Although it is quite a mere simple invention, it is perfect for those who strive to get the perfect cat pictures and selfies.

The last invention, which is quite outstanding,is the Dog Fetch Machine. If you are a dog owner, you would know the great happiness in playing fetch with your dog. But, at one point, even we begin to tire out despite how desperate the dogs beg us to play more fetch with them. We feel bad and do truly want to play with them, but we have no energy and have no choice but to rest. Well that won’t be a problem any longer! The GoDogGo dog fetch machine will play with your dog as long as you want, and all you would have to do is control the intervals in how far you want the machine to throw the ball. It even comes with its own remote control! With this wonderful machine, you can play fetch with your dog without getting tired.

Inventions are made for a purpose, and this time, for the pets of this world. Even though it is best to take care of our pets with true love and care with our own supervision, technology can come in handy and even change the way we interact with pets for the better.
